2014 Births-Phase 1 Perinatal Care Provider Reporting Aggregate Results
From December 2015 through February 2016, 48 practices participated in the first phase of reporting for 2014 births in the Medicaid Perinatal Care Quality Improvement Project. New York State Medicaid members delivering infants in 2014 were attributed to the practice providing the majority of their prenatal care; practices were asked to review the medical records of a random patient sample supplied by the NYSDOH. A total of 879 reviews were submitted.
Analyses of aggregate data were conducted by IPRO on behalf of the NYSDOH Office of Quality and Patient Safety; the results are displayed in the slide presentation 2014 Births-Phase 1 Perinatal Care Provider Reporting Aggregate Results.
